McDonald, Louis Victor of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, passed March 31, 2026. Louis was born in Boston to the late Estelle and Clement McDonald. He was a proud Vietnam era Air Force veteran serving from 1962-1967. Louis proudly served as a Quincy Police Officer until his retirement.

Beloved husband of 60 years to Ursula B. McDonald of Quincy. Loving father of Matthew V. McDonald and Sandy of Livonia, MI and Molly Long and David of Quincy. Devoted Grandfather to Timothy Long & Benjamin Long of Quincy, MA, Gavin Richards & Kylee Workman of Ohio and Desmyn Tapper of Michigan. Dear brother of the late Robert McDonald. Uncle of Kristen Boulet of TX, Kimberly Dennie of TX, Jessica Kreher of Dubai UAE, Steven Lunn of England and Stewart Lunn of Spain. Brother in law of Monika and Colin Harvey of England. Godfather of Peter Kendall and lifelong best friend of Daniel MacDonald.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 4/10/2026 from 4PM-7PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday 4/11/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow. Donations in loving memory of Louis may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
