Lucille A. (Rossi) DuRoss

Lucille A. (Rossi) DuRoss, of Walpole, formerly of Weymouth, died peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, September 20, 2025. She was 77.

Lucille was born in Lawrence on May 27, 1948, and was the daughter of the late Arthur and Carmella Rossi. She was raised in Lawrence, attended local schools and graduated from Lawrence High School.

In her early years, Lucille served as a crossing guard in Weymouth, always keeping a watchful eye on the children in her community. She later built a career as an office manager with Mass Electric, where her hard work and dedication were greatly appreciated until her retirement.

Above all else, Lucille was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. A true “hockey mom,” she was happiest cheering from the stands, supporting her children in every game and activity. Her family was her world, and she cherished every moment spent together.

Lucille will be remembered as caring, selfless, and kind—a woman who always put others before herself and whose love and warmth touched everyone who knew her.

Her legacy of love, generosity, and family devotion will live on in all whose lives she touched.

Lucille was the beloved wife of the late Timothy J. DuRoss Sr., who died in 2011. The two shared many loving years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Timothy J. DuRoss Jr. and his wife Danielle of Medfield, and Jeffrey R. DuRoss and his wife Ann Marie of Dracut. Lucille was the loving grandmother of Michaela, Owen, Gabrielle, Elise Lucille, Drew, and Adrianna. She is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 9-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11 AM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main St. (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), Weymouth.

Service will conclude with interment in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent in Lucille's name to the charitable organization of one's choice.
