Lucy A. Loud

Loud, Lucy A. (Cappuccio) of South Boston, died November 2, 2016. 

A lifelong resident of South Boston, Lucy retired at the age of 65 from the Division of Unemployment for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She spent thousands of hours volunteering. In particular, she volunteered for the Heritage for the Blind of Quincy. Lucy also made blankets for disabled veterans. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

Loving wife of the late Frederick Loud. Caring mother of Paul Loud and Rita of Dorchester, Albion Loud of Pensacola, FL, Donald Loud and Carol of Winthrop, the late Frederick Loud Jr. and the late Carol Cappuccio. Dear sister to Joseph Cappuccio of Roslindale, Michelina Birrittieri of Dorchester and Sylvia Parisi of NJ. Mother in law of Dr. Jean Curtis Loud and Angelo Cappuccio of Martha’s Vineyard. Lifelong friend and companion of the late Gerry Tarrulo. Cherished Nana of the late Adam Curtis Loud. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 3-7PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.
