Higgins, Marguerite M. (Higgins) of Berkley, died February 27, 2026.

Marguerite was a very spiritual woman, exploring different religions throughout her life. She enjoyed tarot cards and was a lover of animals. She was very creative and enjoyed sewing and quilting from the time she was young. Often sewing clothes and gifts for her family and friends. She enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments and making elaborate costumes. Marguerite worked as a surgical scheduler at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. She enjoyed her job and had great work ethic. She loved to laugh. She was beautiful, unique, giving, and kind. She will be deeply missed.

Daughter of the late Thomas and Ann (Gilleo) Higgins. Cherished mother of Michelle Goode and her husband John of Berkley and Joshua Landrith and his husband Doug of Dallas, TX. Loving sister of Michael Higgins BFD-Ret, Kathleen Higgins, and the late Dennis Higgins and Mary Higgins. Also survived by 2 nieces.

A Funeral Home Service will be Wednesday 3/18/2026 at 12 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marguerite may be made to MSPCA, Attn: Donation, 350 S. Huntington Ave., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 or to the COPD Foundation, PO Box 160112, Miami, FL 33116.
