Mary Ann McGerity, 94, of Braintree MA. Devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by parents John and Minna Lou O'Connor, brother J. Robert O'Connor. She is survived by her loving children: Nancy and Vin McGuire of Braintree/Plymouth; Susan and Matt Jones of CO; Steven and Kayo McGerity of HI. She is predeceased by her son, Ron McGerity.

Her primary and most treasured vocation was being Mom and "Nanny". She excelled at both. She was the cherished grandmother to Colin McGuire(Cheryl) of Foxboro, MA, Matthew McGuire (Leslie) of Richmond VA, Rory McGuire (Jamie) of Wash. DC, Mike Menelli (Tara) of Chicago, Annemarie Menelli (Jenn) of Beverly, Danny Menelli of CO, Lucas McGerity, Taylor McGerity and Hannah McGerity all of HI, and Patrick McGerity of Poland. She was also devoted to her 10 great-grandchildren, leaving them with many beautiful memories.

Mary Ann will be remembered for her gentle heart and unwavering kindness. She had a wonderful way of making everyone feel welcome, valued, and loved. She brought joy wherever she went, especially with her many friends at Independence Manor, Braintree MA.
