Mary P. Fitzgerald

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary P. Fitzgerald (Boyle), 85, on Tuesday morning, June 17, 2025. Mary, a proud native of County Mayo, Ireland, resided in Dorchester, Quincy, Braintree, and Marina Bay throughout her life.

Mary was the beloved matriarch of her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Michael Fitzgerald. She leaves behind her devoted children: Patrick, Michael and John Fitzgerald, and Mary Sobchuk. Mary was also the cherished grandmother to Kyle, Juliet, Aidan, and Ronan Fitzgerald, and Alexander, Jack, and William Sobchuk.

She was predeceased by her dear brothers, Eamon and Michael Boyle. Mary is survived by her loving siblings, Martin, Nora, and Patrick Boyle.

Family and friends are invited to attend the wake at Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy, MA 02170 on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A Catholic Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Sacred Heart Church, Hancock Street, Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mary's memory to either the Irish Pastoral Center, 540 Gallivan Blvd., Dorchester, MA 02124, or The Pat Roche Hospice Center, 86 Turkey Hill Lane, Hingham, MA 02043.
