Mary M. (Richman) Davis of Waldoboro, Maine, formerly of Hull, Massachusetts, passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 3, 2026, at the age of 61.

Beloved wife of James Davis.

Loving mother of Stephanie Cone and Douglas Cone and his wife, Kristen Moreno.

Devoted stepmother to Lindsey Davis and Melissa Davis and her wife, Christine Nearen.

Dear sister of Mark Richman and his wife, Anne-Marie; Pamela McGovern and her husband, Michael; and James Richman Jr. and his wife, Gail. Adored niece of Carole Guevremont. Proud aunt of Hailey, Joshua and Ryan. Cherished Mimi of Malcolm, Olivia, Matteo, and Avery.

She will also be deeply missed by her extended family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.

Family was at the center of Mary’s life. She played a hands-on role in raising and caring for many of the children in her family and made a point of staying closely involved in their lives as they grew. She always wanted to know what was going on with the people she loved, often asking about every detail, big or small. She enjoyed silly jokes and shared plenty of laughs with those around her.

Mary loved traveling, especially cruising. One of her most special trips was a family cruise this past April, which she treated her family to so they could all experience it together and create memories that will now be especially cherished.

At home, Mary loved birdwatching from the deck, spending time with her beloved dog, Sophie, and settling in with her favorite television shows. She especially loved Survivor and Jeopardy! and, more recently, became a devoted Big Brother fan.

Mary was hardworking, determined, and motivated, taking great pride in her work and naturally stepping into leadership throughout her career. She became a trusted mentor to many of the people she worked with, and those relationships grew into close friendships that extended well beyond the workplace. The friendships she formed and the people she helped along the way were a meaningful part of her life.

Mary will be remembered most for the role she played in the lives of her family and friends, her genuine interest in the people she loved, and the many memories they were fortunate to share with her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 9/15/2026 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Funeral services will be celebrated on Wednesday 9/16/2026 at 10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.
