Marybeth Dawe

Marybeth Dawe of Bourne, formerly of Squantum and Long Beach, CA, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. She was 66.

She was born in Boston to Marie H. (Sheehan) Dawe and George E. Dawe Sr. and raised in Squantum. After graduating from North Quincy High school, she began working for a small brokerage firm specializing in imports and exports. After some time, Marybeth’s responsibilities grew, and she became very well acclimated to the industry. She eventually challenged herself to earn her own brokerage license and was one of the 3 applicants out of over 1,000 to pass and earn her license. It was then that Kuehne & Nagel recruited her to help run an American subsidiary in Boston.

In 1986, Marybeth moved to Longbeach, CA with some friends. There, she worked for Mattel and taught brokerage classes at Long Beach Community College.

She lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with energy and joy. Whether it was a carefree day at the beach with friends or the thrill of water skiing, she made every experience count. Her sharp mind and vibrant, fun-loving spirit were beautifully balanced. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.

Loving sister to Raymond Dawe and his wife Susan of Falmouth, George Dawe Jr. of Falmouth and Timothy Dawe of Chicago. Dear friend of Fredia (Geiger) Murphy. and her husband Jim of San Padre, CA. Also survived by four nieces and a nephew. Predeceased by her parents, Marie H. (Sheehan)Dawe and George E. Dawe Sr.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Graveside Service at 10 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the Pine Hill Cemetery, 815 Willard Street, Quincy, MA.
