Maureen T. Riley, of Weymouth, formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was a longtime resident of Weymouth, where she made her home for the past 32 years.

Born and raised in Hyde Park, Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a woman whose greatest pride and joy was her family. She found her greatest happiness in spending time with her grandchildren, making memories with them, and watching them grow.

Maureen worked as an overnight bank manager for Bank of America. Outside of work, she enjoyed reading and crocheting, often creating beautiful handmade pieces for those she loved. She also cherished traveling to Disney World with her husband, William, making memories that would last a lifetime.

Maureen had a special way of bringing comfort and faith into everyday life. When something went missing, she would remind her family to pray to St. Anthony. When times were difficult, she would turn to St. Jude. Her faith, warmth, and love will remain with those who knew her.

Maureen was predeceased by her beloved husband, William T. Riley Sr. She leaves behind her loving children, Ann Marie Riley of Weymouth; William T. Riley Jr. and his wife, Noreen, of Hanover; Charles Riley and his wife, Rebecca, of Stamping Ground, Kentucky; Donald Riley and his wife, Claire, of Weymouth; Helen Riley and her husband, Brian Glennon II, of Duxbury; and Stephen Riley of Weymouth.

She was the proud grandmother of Caitlyn Riley, Brendan Riley, Thomas Riley, Brian Glennon III, William Riley, and Sarah Glennon.

Maureen's family was her greatest accomplishment, and her love will live on through each of them. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 9/18/2026 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday 9/19/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Maureen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
