Maureen T. Daly

Daly, Maureen T. (Fitzgerald) of Norwell, formerly of North Weymouth, passed away January 16, 2022. Maureen was born in Melrose to the late William and Elizabeth Fitzgerald. She attended N. Quincy High School and worked for many years at MASSA Corporation in Hingham, MA as a Secretary. She had been a longtime resident of North Weymouth where she raised her five children. Maureen always kept busy and enjoyed bowling, BINGO, dancing, road trips and spending time with her family.

Loving mother of Richard J. Daly, Sr. and his wife Jean Marie of Brockton, Mark E. Daly of Whitman, Charlene M. Frye and her husband Robert of Quincy, Edward J. Daly and his wife Lisabeth of Hanover and Scott C. Daly and his wife Caroline Breen-Daly of Weymouth. Cherished Nana of Richard J. Daly, Jr, Sean Patrick Daly, Patrick Daly, Jack Daly and the late Matthew O’Brien. Proud Great Nana of Camilla Daly. Dear sister of Joseph Fitzgerald and his wife Brigetta of Utah, Daniel Fitzgerald of Nevada, Robert Fitzgerald of Florida and the late John and Brian Fitzgerald. Also survived by many, nieces, nephews and longtime friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 11AM-2PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A – Bicknell Square). A funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 2 PM in McDonald Keohane Funeral Home.
