Meredyth Beattie

Meredyth Beattie, a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2024. She grew up in Quincy, later settling in Weymouth.

Meredyth pursued her education with determination, earning her Bachelor's Degree and setting the stage for a life of continuous learning and service. Meredyth's professional journey was marked by her long-standing tenure at Carney Hospital and Boston Financial Data Systems, where she was not only a dedicated employee but also an enthusiastic cheerleader for the Carney Hospital basketball team.

Her passion for knowledge extended beyond her work, as she generously gave her time to tutor at the Thomas Crane Library, helping countless individuals expand their horizons and reach for their dreams. Meredyth's commitment to her community and the betterment of others was a testament to her kind and giving spirit. Her love of reading transported her to worlds far and wide, and her gentle heart found joy in the company of animals, especially her beloved fur baby, Princess, and grandkitties, Snugs and Jax.

She leaves behind a loving family who will miss her deeply: her son, William L. Eisan, and his wife, Jenna, of Canton; her sister, Heather Beattie of Hampden; and her cherished nieces and nephew, Jessica O'Brien and her husband, James, and their daughter, Fiona, Alexandra Lydon, and Nathaniel Reynolds and his wife, Christina. Meredyth was predeceased by her brother, Warren Beattie, and her parents, William and Marion.
