Michael F. Dunford, of Weymouth, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on June 15, 2026. He was 87.

Michael worked for many years for the Commonwealth of Mass as a social worker. He was a Past Grand Knight for the North Weymouth Knights of Columbus, Council # 4719. An avid Boston sports team follower, he loved the Boston Red Sox and in his spare time enjoyed reading. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of the late Carol Dunford (Garrity).

Loving father of Michael P Dunford and his wife, Dana of Middleboro, the late Christine Dunford and the lateTheresa Dunford. Brother of Robert Dunford and his wife, Dottie of Dorchester, and Margaret Dunford of Whitman. Grandfather of Patrick, Julia, and Christine.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 6/18/2026 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Friday 6/19/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.

Burial will follow in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
