Campbell, Michael J. of Quincy ,October 27, 2002. Beloved husband of Kate T. (Hogarty) Campbell of Quincy. Loving Father of Daniel Campbell of Rumson, NJ and Elizabeth Carroll of Weymouth. Devoted grandfather of Kathleen Campbell of New Haven, CT and Victoria Campbell of Rumson, NJ. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Most Blessed Sacrament Church at 10 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4-7 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.Mr. Campbell was born in Moycullen County, Galway, Ireland. He came over in 1948 and lived in Roslindale and Charlestown. His wife and son soon joined him. He proudly became a naturalized United States citizen in 1955. Michael raised his family in Quincy and lived here in Quincy for 50 years. He retired from the Boston Gas Compnay after many years. Mr. Campbell enjoyed vegetable gardening, working around his home and the companionship of animals, especially dogs.
