Rooney, Michael P. of Quincy August 19, 2006. Devoted son of Paul G. and Ruth Rooney of Quincy. Beloved brother of Paul F. Rooney and his wife Marty of Rockland, Kevin G. Rooney and his wife Judy of Hanover, Eileen M. and her husband Ricky Richardson of Wollaston, Kathleen A. Rooney of Wollaston, and Kelly J. and her husband Joseph Dumont of Quincy. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON, Thursday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Michael was a graduate of Quincy High School, class of 1976. He worked at General Dynamics as a welder. He was also an artist and enjoyed drawing.
