Murielle M. Letourneau

Murielle M. Letourneau, formerly of Brockton and Mashpee and most recently of Weymouth, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025. She was born on June 13, 1939, in Quebec, Canada, to the late Henri Louis and Irene Poulin.

Murielle was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker who took great pride in caring for her family. She worked for several years as a hostess and server at Christo’s II in Brockton, where she forged close friendships with staff members and enjoyed the occasional celebrity introduction during events at the venue. Murielle was known as an excellent cook who lovingly preserved her Canadian traditions through the meals she prepared.

Nothing brought her greater joy than her family, and she was especially proud of and delighted by the time she spent with her grandchildren.She was an active and cherished member of the Fairing Way community in Weymouth, where she enjoyed assisting the activity’s coordinator. Murielle was always involved, organizing events, participating in card games, and bringing people together with her warmth and energy.

Murielle was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, Emilien J. Letourneau, and by her seven siblings. She is survived by her children: Dany Letourneau and his wife Jeannette of Plymouth; Luce Letourneau and her late partner Chris Cummings of Taunton; and Larry Letourneau and his wife Kara of Acton. She also leaves behind six grandchildren, Allison, Christopher, Madison, Logan, Isabelle, and Liette; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Murielle will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her strong sense of tradition, her community spirit, and the love she shared so generously with all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 1/3/2026 from 9-10 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:00 AM on Saturday 1/3/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Murielle may be made to Norwell VNA and Hospice, 120 Longwater Drive,Norwell, MA 02061.
