Nader K. Sidahmed

Nader Sidahmed of Rockland, formerly of Quincy, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. He was 50 years old.

Nader’s loss is felt by so many people. He was a Master Engineer at Mass General Hospital for over 10 years. He attended UMASS Amherst and held multiple Microsoft / VMware certifications.

Nader was born in Dorchester and raised in Quincy, MA along with his sister Suzanne. Both first generation after his parents came over from Alexandria, Egypt back in 1970. 

Nader graduated from North Quincy High in 1992, was diligent in helping his father with the family business all while raising his own family with his wife, Patricia, and maintaining a successful career in Computers. 

In his leisure time, Nader enjoyed geeky tech stuff, sciences, vibrantly debating politics, and star trek – so much star trek.

However, Nader’s greatest passion was spending time with family and friends. Of his many successes in life, Nader was most proud of his two sons.

Nader leaves behind his wife of 24 years, Patricia Sidahmed (Fitzgerald), along with his sons, Alexander and Thomas of Rockland.

Loving son of Khamis Sidahmed of Quincy and the late Fadila Sidahmed.

Brother of Suzanne Bivins and her husband, Matthew of Weymouth.

Uncle to Nicholas, Angela, Joseph and Zachary all of Weymouth. 

Brother in law to Anne Fitzgerald Venturo and her husband, Paul of Weymouth.

Nephew to Esam and Ida Sidahmed of Brockton

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, July 11, from 4-8 PM, at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home at 809 Main St. (Rt. 18, across from South Shore Hospital), in South Weymouth.

 A service will be held at on Friday, July 12th at 10am in the funeral home.

Nader will be laid to rest next to his mom at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
