Chuday, Nancy (Flint) of Quincy, formerly of New Jersey died November 27, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Richard J. Chuday. Loving mother of Elizabeth A. Chuday of Baltimore, MD, Richard Chuday, Jr. and his wife Frankie of Oak Hill, VA, John C. Chuday and his wife Karen of Mill Valley, CA and Catherine Chuday Feddersen of Boston. Sister of the late Harriet Harrington and Frank E. Flint. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Chuday, Kim Chuday, Jenn Chuday, Olivia Musgrave and Jonas Chuday. Nancy is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Nancy was a retired real estate agent and long-time Cinnaminson, NJ school board member. Prior to her marriage, Nancy was a vivacious cheerleader for Quincy High School and a flight attendant for American Airlines. She met her husband Dick on a blind date, and they were married in Taiwan in 1955, after a whirlwind courtship. After completion of his military duty, Nancy and Dick moved to Bethlehem, PA and then Cinnaminson, NJ., where they raised their four children. She and her husband centered their social lives around the Riverton Country Club, and Nancy was involved in various civic and social groups, including Questers, the PTA and her beloved ‘Sewing Circle’. A decline in health resulted in Mrs. Chuday’s relocation back to her hometown of Quincy, MA.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Woodside Cemetery, Cohasset. A Memorial Service will be celebrated in the spring in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Nancy may be made to Alzheimers Association, MA Chapter, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
