Nunziata “Nancy” (Fazzolari) Minasi, a longtime resident of Hull, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, February 15, 2026. She was 79.

Nancy was born in Calabria, Italy, to Maria (Albanese) and Francesco Fazzolari. She moved to the US with her family in 1970 and settled in Somerville, where she married her husband, Nunziato (Nunzio) Minasi. They started a family, having two children and later settled in Hull, where they would call home for their rest of their lives. She worked as a cafeteria worker with the Hull Public Schools for ten years before retiring, feeding the children everyday brought her great joy.

Nancy’s life centered around her family. She loved being a mom above all else, always doting on her children and grandchildren. Whether it was her exceptional cooking, by far the best meatballs, lasagna and rice balls around, crocheting blankets or tending to her garden, her actions were carried out with the utmost love and care. She loved being a mom but the title of “Nonna” was a great source of pride and it followed her into many of her relationships in life. Nancy also enjoyed spending time with her friends and family socializing. Nonna always opened her heart and home to others, from welcoming immigrants just starting their journey in America to providing snacks and shelter after a long hot beach day, Nonna was always there.

Beloved wife of 48 years to the late Nunziato Minasi. Devoted mother to Rocco Minasi and his wife Lori of Holbrook, and Francesco “Frank” Minasi and his wife Carol of Hanover. Adoring “Nonna” to Andriana (Robbie), Natalie, Nunzio, Rocco, Juliana, Abigail, and Sophia. Loving sister to Teresa Prestia of Hingham and Salvatore Fazzolari and his wife Lina of Somerville. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Predeceased by her parents, Maria (Albanese) and Francesco Fazzolari and siblings: Minina Micelotta, Dominic Fazzolari, Vincenzo Fazzolari, Rocco Fazzolari, and Natalina Fazzolari.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 4-7 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday, February 20, 2026, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Hanover, at 10 AM. Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery.
