Patricia "Pat" (Mascioli/Frazier) Gallup passed away peacefully at the age of 85, surrounded by the love of her family.
Born to Nicholas Mascioli and Margaret "Peggy" (O'Connor) Mascioli, Pat grew up in Hull, Massachusetts, where she developed the warm, spirited personality that would become her trademark. She shared a special bond with her four sisters, and together they were truly a force to be reckoned with. Their love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another remained a constant throughout their lives. Pat is survived by her sisters Carol Dalesandro, Judy Fabrizio, and Nancy Hunnicutt and was predeceased by her sister Joan Rozzi and beloved dog Oscar.
She was the beloved mother of Janet McDonald (Peter), Fred Frazier (Joanne), Lynda Monahan (Andy), and Julie Walsh (Billy). She was the proud and devoted grandmother of eleven grandchildren: Nicole Burgess, Jaclyn Nickley, Andrew Loconsolo, Matthew Loconsolo, Alexandra Frazier, Erik Frazier, PJ McDonald, Madison Reid, Lily Reid, Liam Walsh, and Angus Reid. Her family continued to grow with the addition of her cherished great-grandchildren: Brooke, Brynn, Lauryn, Lyla, Camryn, Carter, Stevie, and Emerson.
Nothing brought Pat greater joy than her family, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and milestones.
Pat later made her home in Scituate. She will be remembered for her fun-loving personality, infectious smile, and genuine interest in others. People smiled when they saw her because she had a unique gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued. She loved conversation and had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, whether they were lifelong friends, new acquaintances or complete strangers. She was happiest when sharing stories, laughter, and companionship.
Pat was an avid Boston sports fan. She was politically savvy and had her opinions. She was always ready to go to a play, a movie, out to dinner or play a game of cards. She was a great cribbage player.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives were enriched by her presence.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during Visiting Hours on Monday, June 22nd from 4:00-8:00 PM at Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.) Hingham. On Tuesday, June 23rd a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary of the Nativity, 14 Edward Foster Road, Scituate, at 11:00 AM. A private burial will be at a later date.
