Halvorson, Patricia Anne (Twomey) of Quincy, died June 5, 2026.
Pat earned a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville and her Master’s degree in Management at Lesley University in Cambridge. She worked for the telephone company for many years and was active in the IBEW Union. She adored her family, especially her granddaughters. She enjoyed volunteering for the American Cross blood drives, at the library, and for musical performances. Pat kept in touch with family in Ireland and would visit when she could. She loved the ocean, shopping, baking, gardening, music, travel, genealogy, and her faith was important to her. She was an inspiring woman who was kind-hearted, witty and generous. Patricia will be greatly missed.
Daughter of the late Patrick and Eileen (O’Connor) Twomey. Loving mother of Jennifer Halvorson of Quincy and Jill Halvorson of Hanover, and her former son-in-law Ronald Logan, III. Devoted grandmother of Abigail, Ashley, and Amelia Logan of Hanover. Cherished sister of James Twomey of Twentynine Palms, CA, Mary Marszalek and her husband Guy of Gladstone, NJ, and John Twomey of W. Roxbury. Predeceased by her former spouse Jay C. Halvorson and survived by many nieces, nephews, and her beloved dogs Franky and Darla.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 6/12/2026 from 5-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM Saturday 6/13/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Benedict Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Pat may be made to the Italian Home for Children, 1125 Centre St., Jamaica Plain, MA 02130 or to the American Lung Association. in MA, 1661 Worcester Rd., Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701.
