Bergin, Patrick J. of Quincy, formerly of Offaly, Ireland, died peacefully on September 5, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Patrick’s joy came from spending time with his family and friends. He loved the simple pleasures in life and was a great example to many. Pat took great pride in his carpentry work, enjoyed a round of golf, lived his faith, and was helpful to all. He will be remembered for his quick wit, kindness, heart of gold, and the ability to just do the right thing.
Beloved husband of Angela (Ring) Bergin of Quincy. Devoted father of Ashley and Jamie Bergin of Quincy. Cherished son of Mary (Cantwell) Bergin of Ireland and his late father James Bergin. Loving brother of John Bergin, Seamus Bergin, and Bernadette Walsh; all of Ireland. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, friends, both here and in Ireland, and of course his beloved dog “Daisy.”
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
