Pauline (Gioiosa) Pizzi

Pauline (Gioiosa) Pizzi of South Weymouth, MA was born in Boston, April 8, 1923. 

She passed peacefully at her home May 27th, 2018.  She was 95.  She was the daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Romano) Gioiosa of Medford and wife of the late William R. Pizzi, Sr. of Weymouth.  A devoted mother of William R. Pizzi, Jr. of Florida, Pamela Pizzi of Weymouth and Christine Pizzi-Nash of Weymouth, and a devoted grandmother to 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren.  She is survived by her  sister Lena DeGuglielmo of Lexington and also sister to the late Betty Spencer of Malden. 

Pauline was raised and educated in Medford.  In her earlier years, Pauline was a professional dancer. She co-owned the Lawrence Sisters Dance Studio with her sister Betty.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday from 10 AM-12 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by her Memorial Service.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
