Dugan, Peter D. of Quincy, originally South Boston, passed away August 22, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

Peter was born and raised in South Boston and was proud of his roots. He met the love of his life Karen and moved to Quincy to raise their family. They enjoyed traveling to Ireland and taking cruises together. Peter worked for the United States Postal Service as an MVS driver. He had a strong devotion to his family and friends and was a generous and witty man with a great sense of humor. Peter will be deeply missed.

Beloved husband of 45 years to the late Karen (Geoghegan) Dugan. Cherished father of Dorsey Dugan and his wife Stacie of Quincy and Patrick Dugan and his partner Stephanie Sullivan of Quincy. Loving brother of William Dugan of Alton Bay, NH and Donna Wallace of Mashpee. Devoted Grandpa of Grace, Liam, and Maeve. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dogs Coco, Bella, and George.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Thursday 8/27/2026 from 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday 8/28/2026 prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Boston.
