Peter Mancuso

Peter Mancuso, formerly of Quincy peacefully passed away in his home surrounded by family on October 23, 2025 at the age of 78.

Peter was born in Italy but moved to Quincy as a teenage boy. He attended Quincy High School and was in the Vocational Program for automotive. He graduated from Quincy High School in 1968 and started his career as a talented mechanic. He worked for Woodward Springs for many years and then eventually retired as a member of Local 4. He was known for being a skilled mechanic that could fix anything and for his strong work ethic.

Peter was a member of the Quincy Elks, the South Shore Bocce Club, and the Knights of Columbus in Weymouth. He enjoyed living life and having a good time with friends and family.

After retiring Peter was able to for fil his dream and moved to Florida where he lived for 12 years in the sunshine. He recently moved back to his home area to be closer to family.

Cherished father to Lisa Raischel and her husband Jeffrey of Weymouth and the late Matthew Mancuso of Quincy. Beloved grandfather to Jack, Aidan, Madison, and Jillian Raischel. Brother to Joseph Mancuso Sr. And his wife Mary of Braintree. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Peter is predeceased in life by his parents Charles and Frances Mancuso of Quincy.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Thursday 10/30/25 from 4pm-7pm at McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opposite South Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:00Am on Friday 10/31/25 prior to the funeral Mass at St. John’s Church in Quincy at 10 AM.
