Phyllis Ann Flynn

Flynn, Phyllis Ann (Bohan) of Quincy, OFD, died January 28, 2026.

Phyllis adored her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a devout Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Church in Quincy. She enjoyed bowling, Tuesday nights with the Card Girls, baking “tollies” cookies, and swimming at the beach. She loved traveling with her husband Edward all over the world, including Hong Kong, Acapulco, Ireland, England, and throughout the US. Phyllis was an elementary school teacher in Hull for many years before retiring. She was a nurturing and positive woman who will be greatly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Peter Flynn, Jr. Devoted mother of Lisa Marie Karol and her husband Michael of Pembroke, Christine Ellen Tobin and her husband Bruce of Braintree, Diane Marie Brait and her husband Gary of Plymouth, and Edward Peter Flynn, III of Coventry, RI. Loving sister of the late Arlene Jordan, Thomas Bohan, and Robert Bohan and his surviving wife Sally. Cherished Nana of Bruce James Tobin, Jr. and his wife Dara, Nicole Flynn Tobin, Cory William Brait and his wife Mica Blake, Casey Marie Brait, Bailey Marie Brait, John Edward Karol, Michelle Margaret Karol, Luke Stanley Karol, Joseph Michael Karol, Morgan Grace Flynn, Alexandra Faith Flynn and great grandmother of Maeve James Tobin, Quinn Ann Tobin, and Autumn Magnolia Brait. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be Friday 2/6/2026 in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
