Mann, Phyllis M. (Thomas) of Quincy & Boston March 19, 2003. Wife of the late John E. Mann, Jr. Loving daughter of Helen Lutes of Quincy & the late Richard Thomas. Loving mother of Emily Mann of Quincy. Sister of Alana Buccini of Quincy & the late Jill O’Connor and Lori Diodato. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Saturday at 1 PM. Visitation 1 hour prior to service. Cremation will follow.Phyllis worked as a technician for Raytheon for 15 years until 1989 and was a lifelong resident of Quincy. She fought Machado-Joseph’s Disease (a genetic disorder of the nervous system) for many years. Her fight was an example to all who knew her. For the past eight years, she was cared for at the Boston Home in Dorchester. Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Boston Home, 2049 Dorchester Ave., Boston, MA 02124.
