Phyllis A. (Williams) Reynolds, a lifelong Quincy resident, died peacefully at the home of her daughters, on July 7, 2026, at the age of 98. Born in Quincy to the late Hugh and Esther (Lee) Williams, on May 3,1928. She was a graduate of Quincy High School, class of 1946.

She worked as a sales associate for many years, while raising her family. Later in life, she changed careers, furthering her education and graduating from the Quincy Vocational Technical School's nursing program, in 1970. She found her true path while working in the Pediatric Unit at the former Quincy City Hospital.

In retirement, Phyllis participated in the Foster Grandparent Program, working with elementary school students. Throughout her life, she became involved in and supported causes to benefit others.

She enjoyed reading, sewing, dancing and spending time with family and friends.

The last chapter of her life was spent traveling, participating in activities and making lasting friendships with her fellow residents at 1000 Southern Artery Senior Citizens Residence.

Phyllis will be remembered for her warm smile, sense of humor, adventurous spirit and generous nature. Above all, she cherished her role as matriarch of the family to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Devoted mother of Phyllis Reynolds and Mary (Reynolds) Chiachio of Quincy and her late son-in-law Daniel Chiachio, son John Reynolds and daughter-in-law Ruth of NH.

Treasured grandmother of Elizabeth (Jerry) Gifford, Jennifer (Douglas) Perry, Andrew (Marissa) Chiachio, Kelly (William) Scott, Timothy (Jessica) Chiachio, Sean (Catherine) Reynolds and the late Daniel Chiachio, Jr. Beloved GG of nine great grandchildren and three bonus grandchildren.

She was the dear sister of Hugh Williams and sister-in-law of Marge Williams of ME. She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Miriam (Williams) McCormack.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, dear friends and all who were blessed to know her.

The family wishes to acknowledge with gratitude, the comfort and care provided to our mom by the team from Old Colony Hospice of W. Bridgewater and to express heartfelt appreciation to Cassidy, "Our Angel in Scrubs."

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit the family on Sunday, July 26,2026 from noon to 3:00 PM, at Keohane's Funeral Home located at 785 Hancock St, Quincy, MA. To Honor Phyllis's wishes, burial will be private.
