Priscilla P. Bill, born on September 28, 1933, in Arlington, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026. Her life was a testament to warmth, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family, friends, and community.
Priscilla grew up in Sudbury, where she attended The Redstone School and proudly received her diploma from Henry Ford. She continued her education in Sudbury’s middle and high schools before pursuing higher studies at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA graduating with the Class of 1955. Her time in Amherst was marked by lasting friendships and cherished memories as a proud member of Sigma Kappa.
Early in her working life, Priscilla served as a waitress at the historic Wayside Inn. She then chose to dedicate herself to teaching in the elementary schools of Sudbury and Bedford, Massachusetts.
Priscilla was predeceased by her beloved spouse of 45 years, Franklyn G. Bill of North Sydney, Nova Scotia. Together, they created a home and raised two daughters: Debra Bill Ridge of Norwell, Massachusetts (and her fiancé Christopher Brewer), and Susan Bill Giorgio of Hingham, Massachusetts (and her husband Antonio F. Giorgio Jr.). Priscilla was also predeceased by her brother J. Baird Pittman and sister-in-law Elizabeth Pittman. Family was the core of Priscilla’s world, and her devotion was evident.
Priscilla was a cherished grandmother, known affectionately as Nana, to Abigail Ridge, Emily Ridge, Allison Giorgio, Madison Giorgio, and Jack Giorgio. She embraced every opportunity to celebrate her grandchildren.
She was a loving aunt to Andrew Pittman and his wife Kari, and their children Riley and Kelsey, as well as to Emily Pittman Owen and her husband Chris, and their children Eliana, Miles, and Sydney.
Priscilla found true happiness spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling to warm destinations such as Florida and St. Thomas. She particularly enjoyed sailing, traveling in their Airstream, as well as cherished summer times in Mattapoisett. A woman of faith, Priscilla was an active member of the Dover Church. Priscilla's gentle spirit remains woven into memories of all fortunate enough to have known her.
The family is deeply grateful to the devoted team from Linden Ponds-Home Support, Community Health Care and Cori Health. Priscilla was cared for with dignity, kindness and respect. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a church service in her honor on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at 10:00 AM, at The Episcopal Parish of St. John the Evangelist 172 Main Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
In Lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, something that Priscilla was very passionate about.
