Priscilla A. Langille

We are here to celebrate the life of Priscilla, also known as P.A.L., Cilla, as Auntie Dearest (to Chip). Priscilla was born in Boston and grew up in Fields Corner, Dorchester. After graduating from Jeremiah E. Burke High School, she began her career in the insurance industry, primarily with the Dwight Rudd agency.

She was predeceased by her parents, Hilda and Franklin Langille, her brother Franklin Langille of Quincy, her sister Ruth Casey and her husband Richard in Ohio, and her infant niece, Patricia A.Langille. She is survived by her nephew Franklin "Chip" Langille and Roxane Renkin of Quincy, niece Susanne Casey and Larry Herrett, nephew Rick Casey and his wife Nicole, nephew Jeff Casey and his wife Stacey; all of Ohio. She is also survived by several great-nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as Fran Langille of Quincy, her sister-in-law, whom she always thought of as a sister.

Priscilla was always busy. She loved to travel with her best friend, Jane Timilty (deceased). Some of her favorite places were Hawaii, Disney, and Sweden. She really enjoyed her many trips to Ohio to visit her sister, Ruth, and her family. She had many hobbies: crocheting, jewelry making, ceramics, baking, and reading. For many years, she worked as an usher at the Pavilion in Boston and saw many great musical acts. Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune were her favorite TV shows. She had to be home at 7 PM to watch them, and no one could disturb her while they were on. Priscilla was very active with the Catholic Women's Club of Sacred Heart Church and ran the Christmas Bazaar for many years. She also volunteered at the Quincy Animal Shelter.

Priscilla had many friends and always kept in touch with them. On your birthday, you could expect a call and Priscilla would sing a little birthday jingle. If a friend needed a ride to the store or to the doctor, Pricilla was always ready to help. Priscilla lived to chat, often with someone she had just met at the store or anywhere. All of Chip and Roxane's friends called her Auntie. They will miss her famous macaroni salad on the 4th of July get-togethers.

Priscilla loved her cats and had many over the years who lived long and spoiled lives. Recently, she adopted an orange-striped manx cat that she named Tiger. He will be coming to live with Fran, Chip, Roxane, and their cat, Willow.

Priscilla was well known for her collection of baseball-style hats and pins for all occasions. She had many cat-themed shirts (most given by Chip). She loved anything patriotic and loved patriotic decor and clothes.

Priscilla was a strong person, surviving cancer twice and a bone marrow transplant. Sadly, she could not survive a massive stroke.

She will be missed by all her family and friends (especially Charlene). She will now be reunited in heaven with all those family and friends who have passed. Her goal in life was to make everyone smile, and she succeeded in that. She will be buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery with her parents.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Saturday 11/1/2025 from 9-10AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, in QUINCY, with a funeral home service to follow at 10AM.
