Doucette, Richard J. of South Boston March 20, 2004. Former husband of Marilyn Mortenson of Weymouth. Father of Richard of Hyde Park, Kevin of Plainville and David of Stoughton. Brother of Trudy Johnson of Hull. Also survived by 2 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Cremation will follow.Richard worked as a roofer, a delivery man for Budweiser and as a bartender at the 3rd St. Cafe in South Boston. He served in the Army during WWII. He was a former boxer and a member of Ring 4 in South Boston and the International Veterans Boxing Assoc. He also had a small part in the Brinx movie.
