Robert A. Baxter

Mr. Robert A. Baxter, of Weymouth, died March 29, 2021.

Robert worked many years for the Boston Herald as a truck driver. After retirement he enjoyed golfing and going to the movies. He will be deeply missed by all those that knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Gomes-Baxter.

Father of Debbie Haltom of Baton Rouge, LA, Gene Gomes of Brockton, Deirdra Jackson of Lynn, Robert Baxter, Jr and his wife, Jessica, of Dorchester, and the late Erica Gomes and Gregory Gomes. Brother of Michelle Baxter of Phoenix, AZ. Also survived by many stepchildren and grandchildren. Uncle of Bayn Baxter-Smith.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Saturday from 1- 3 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).
