Robert W. Bialowas

Robert W. Bialowas of Hingham, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on July 3, 2025, at the age of 78 in Weymouth, MA.

Robert, affectionately known as Bob to his friends and family, graduated from Quincy High School. He was a proud United States Navy veteran that served in the Vietnam War. His commitment to excellence continued in his civilian life as he embarked on a 43-year career as an electric motor repairman.

Bob's life was a testament to the value of hard work, but it was his personal passions that truly defined him. A lover of horses and an aficionado of grilling, he could often be found enjoying these activities surrounded by friends and family. His 1970 Chevelle SS, lettered in gold leaf “The Bold One”, was a familiar sight on the streets of Quincy. “Bob's Breakfast” became a family tradition his children and grandchildren would carry on.

Above all, Bob was a family man. He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra J. Dearth of Hingham. His legacy continues through his sons, Darren Dearth and Donnamarie of Weymouth, Steven Dearth and Diane of Whitman, David Dearth and Vivien of Jensen Beach, FL, and his sister, Linda Hardesty and Charles of Galena, Missouri. His grandchildren, Stephen McKenney, MacKenzie Dearth, and Taylor Dearth, will carry forward the lessons and love he imparted. Bob was predeceased by his parents Theodore and Elizabeth Bialowas.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Bob can be made to The Veterans in Need Fund c/o The Hingham Veterans Agent Office, 210 Central St. Hingham, MA 02043.
