Robert C. “Mooney” Welch

Robert C, “Mooney” Welch, of Hull (formerly Weymouth and Randolph), passed away on June 19th, 2021.

Born in Melrose, son of the late Lloyd and Pauline (Houghton) Welch. Bob was a hairstylist by trade and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, camping and long nature walks with the dogs. Bob was a fantastic cook, his sauce and meatballs will be missed at Sunday dinners. He was also a Vietnam era veteran of the U.S.A.F. He will be deeply missed by those that knew and loved him.

Beloved husband of Sharline G. (Palaza) Welch of Hull.

Loving father of Matthew Welch and his fiancée Dawn Bailey of Rockland. Joseph Welch and his wife Jamie of Portsmouth, NH and the late Timothy Welch. Brother of Richard, Patricia, Janet, Jack and the late Lloyd Welch. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date.
