Herrick, Robert C. of Boynton Beach, Florida and formerly of Weymouth, passed away on June 25, 2024. He was 85.

Born in Stamford, CT in 1938 he was the only child to Landon and Denise (Walser) Herrick. Robert was a proud Army veteran who honed his skills as a Morse code and teletype interpreter. His commitment to excellence continued as he pursued higher education, earning a Bachelor's degree from Suffolk University.

Robert's professional journey was marked by a successful career in Mutual Funds, where his diligence and integrity were well respected. It was at State Street Bank where he met the love of his life, Kathleen. Their partnership was one of mutual respect and deep affection, and they were married for 38 glorious years, setting a remarkable example of love and commitment for all who knew them.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Robert was a man of many passions. His thoughtful and generous nature was evident in his love for collecting various memorabilia, a testament to the stories and experiences he cherished. A devoted Boston sports enthusiast, he never missed a Bruins game and his support for his children's activities was unwavering. Robert's kindness extended to his community, where he was actively involved and made a lasting impact.

After the loss of his beloved Kathleen, Robert moved to Florida, embracing the warmth and community that he found there. He continued to live life to the fullest, often embarking on cruises that spoke to his adventurous spirit and love for the sea.

Those who knew Robert will remember him as a gentle and generous soul, always ready with a kind word and a thoughtful gesture. His legacy is one of love, kindness, and the joy he found in the simple pleasures of life. Robert's memory will be held dear in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His was a life well-lived, full of passion, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to the things he held dear. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were touched by his remarkable life.

Predeceased by his wife, Kathleen (Edgar) Herrick. Loving father to Rob Herrick and his wife Kristin of Weymouth and Kristen Seitz and her husband Christopher of Norwood. Cherished grandfather to McKenna Herrick, Samantha Herrick, Charles Seitz and Christopher Seitz. Also survived by many friends and extended family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday from 12:30 - 1:30 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Burial will be celebrated directly after visiting hours at the Village Cemetery, 339 Washington Street, Weymouth at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Robert’s name can be made to Hospice at Trustbridge, 5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407.
