Robert G. Howley

Robert G. Howley, longtime resident of Weymouth, a cherished and respected member of the community, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on October 29, 1943, in Quincy, MA, Robert was the devoted son of the late John and Evelyn Howley. He grew up alongside his siblings, Kenneth Howley of Holbrook, Brian Howley of Plymouth Christine Dindy of Weymouth and the late John Howley III of Del Rio, TX.

Robert was a proud graduate of Weymouth High School. His creative spirit led him to a fulfilling career as a graphic artist, where he lent his talents to various businesses, including Ben Franklin, Modern Blue, and Columbia Graphics. His artistic vision and dedication to his craft were evident in every project he undertook, leaving a lasting impression on both his colleagues and the industry.

Beyond his professional life, Robert was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Jerome Church in Weymouth. His faith was a guiding force throughout his life, and he served his church community with unwavering commitment as a counselor for the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) and a Eucharistic minister. In addition to his religious involvement. Robert's zest for life extended to his leisure activities, which included frequent trips to Atlantic City.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 5/13/2025 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off Route 3A - Bicknell Square). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Wednesday 5/14/2025 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
