Robert “Rob” Osten

Osten, Robert “Rob” of Quincy, after a long illness, October 3, 2004. Beloved son of Gail Doherty and her companion Andy Valliere. Loving grandson of Robert F. of Quincy and the late Rose “Ginger” Doherty and Lillian Osten of Ellenton, FL. Nephew of Robert F. Doherty, Jr. of Boston, Jack Doherty and Kerry Cox of Saco, ME and Lynn Munroe of Marshfield. Cousin of Jack Jr., Kerri, Erin, Dylan and Cole Doherty and Jessica and Kyle Munroe. Rob was a member of the office staff of the Doherty & White Insurance Company in Quincy. He was an avid sportsfan and enjoyed rooting for the Red Sox, Patriots, and Bruins. He was always very interested in politics and the weather. Rob had an great appreciation for all nice automobiles.Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home 785 Hancock St. , WOLLASTON Thursday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
