Robert James Sealund

Robert James Sealund of Quincy, died May 12, 2025. The beloved husband of 37 years to Barbara A. Sealund of Quincy. Loving father of Carol McCabe and her husband Gerald of Canton and Robert J. Thomas and his wife Luisa of Milton. Brother of the late Ann McInnis. Cherished Grampie of Brian and Jeremy McCabe and Andrew and Adam Thomas. Bob is also survived by a niece and several nephews.

Bob was a proud United States Navy Veteran serving during the Vietnam war. He was stationed on the USS Independence as a CVA Nuclear weapons technician. After his military service Bob worked as a talented carpenter, home builder and project manager. He was the project manager for the Black Rock development in Hingham. Bob was the Past Commander and Life Member of the American Legion Post 382 in Squantum. In his spare time he enjoyed trying new restaurants and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visitation on Thursday May 22, 2025 from 11-1 in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, followed by a Celebration of Life service on Thursday at 1 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Bob may be made to the Scholarship Fund at the American Legion Post, 20 Moon Island Road, Squantum, MA 02171 please consider donating blood to the American Red Cross.
