Robert “Bob” Tiro, of Bridgewater, MA passed away on July 12, 2025. He was 84.

Bob grew up in Chelsea, MA with his 2 brothers, Dennis and Anthony “Chubby”. He graduated from high school in 1959 and was a star football athlete. After high school he attended college at Suffolk university in Boston, MA where he received a degree in education and later earned his master’s. Bob spent his teaching career at Chelsea High School and coached the Chelsea Red Devil’s football team for many years. He reluctantly retired after 40 years of teaching.

Bob married Grace Cangemi in 1971 in Quincy, MA. They were happily married for 53 years.

Bob is survived by his wife, Grace, his daughter, Nicole, his son, Adam, daughter-in-law, Stacy, and 5 grandchildren, Isabella, Gabriella, Nathan, Savannah, and Stella. He also has a large family and many friends on the north shore.

Bob was very passionate about sports, football in particular. Above all he was a gentleman, dedicated husband, father and papa.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday July 18, 2025, from 11 AM-1 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, immediately following the visitation at 1 PM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
