Son of the late William and Anne (McHugh) Riggs. Predeceased by siblings Mary Riggs Wilkinson, William, John, Francis, Edward, and Joseph Riggs. Survived by his brother Gerald Riggs and his wife Claire of Mansfield and many nieces and nephews.
