She was born in Boston to Nora (McDonough) and George Youngclaus and raised in Dorchester. She graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School and went on to earn her associate’s in nursing. She was a proud nurse of 53 years, 35 of which were at St. Margaret’s Hospital and 18 as a nursing manager at Eventide Nursing Home.
Rosemary’s life centered around her family, especially her beloved children and grandchildren. When she was home, she could often be found knitting or baking. She enjoyed trying her luck at the casino or by playing Keno. Rosemary’s positive energy and friendly disposition lit up a room. She made friends just about everywhere she went and was loved by everyone she knew. She will be dearly missed.

Devoted mother to Anne Marie Fallon and her husband Doug of Holbrook, Michelle Torchetti and her husband Jack of Abington and Karen Ball of Quincy. Adoring grandmother or “Rah Rah” to Sean and Alyssa Fallon, Joseph Verrochi, Jared, Travis (wife Caitie), and Jailyn Torchetti, and Jessica and Jacob Ball. Great grandmother to Thomas Torchetti. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and her dear friends, Sean Conroy of Braintree, Nancy Ball of Quincy and Pauline Lane of Weymouth.
