Sean J. Dillon of Weymouth passed away suddenly on April 8, 2026.

Beloved son of Mary C. Dillon of Braintree and the late Joseph L. Dillon. Devoted brother of Patrick S. Dillon of Weymouth, Laura Hancock of Weymouth, Mary Thompson of Brockton, and Barbara Dillon of Braintree. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Sean was predeceased by his sister, Sharon Dillon, and his brothers, Kevin Dillon and Peter Dillon.

Growing up in Dorchester, Sean was an avid sports fan who proudly followed the Boston Bruins, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, and New England Patriots. He was also a passionate music lover who enjoyed all types of music and attended many live performances at local venues throughout the years. Sean spent many years working in the food service industry and was also known as a dependable material handler and shipping/receiving professional. He had a great outlook on life, often sharing an Irish whisper paired with a boisterous laugh that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, South Weymouth, 809 Main Street (Route 18, opposite South Shore Hospital).

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM in the funeral home immediately following visiting hours.
