King, Steven P. “Stevie” of Halifax, died January 13, 2026.
Stevie loved his family and loved to drive. He enjoyed going on adventures to experience a new location, try new food, or to just go on a scenic drive with good views. His love of driving carried over to his career. He worked as a truck driver up and down the East coast before changing to more local drives while he settled down and started a family, occasionally taking them on longer day trips to Maine or New Hampshire. He later worked with Active Day for the last 10 years as the transportation coordinator and he loved bringing the clients treats to brighten their day. He would always do anything he could to make someone’s life easier and to help people. He loved the fall with the leaves changing and was an avid Patriots fan and always wore his gear on game days. Stevie enjoyed going to the movies with his daughter and son in law, often going to Sunday morning showings of the latest sci-fi or super hero film. He looked forward to family dinners, BBQs, and lunches with his sister's and family, who he loved so much. He had a great sense of humor and was always making people laugh. He will be greatly missed.
Loving son of the late Peter and Barbara (Foley) King. Devoted father of Kelly King and her husband Josh Todd of Halifax. Cherished brother of Dianne Connell and her husband Peter of Braintree, Jean Jordan and her husband Brian of Marshfield, and the late Peggy King. Also survived by his former spouse April King, grandcat Kevin, and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 1/30/2026 from 9-11 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral home service at 11 AM.
