Suzanne Marie (Rumsey) St. Clair passed away peacefully Friday May 8th at home surrounded by her family after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. She was 57.
Suzanne was born in Weymouth MA and lived her early years in Braintree MA. She graduated from Braintree High School in 1987 and North Adams State College in 1991. It was there that she met her soulmate Scott in 1989. After dating for 8 years they got married in 1997 and had two wonderful children.
They bought their first house in 2001 in South Weymouth. They continued to live in Weymouth right up to her death. Suzanne’s family always came first. Suzanne worked in publishing starting at Kluwer Academic Publishing in Norwell MA right out of college. It was there that she met many lifelong friends. She also worked at Cengage learning and the National Fire Protection Association where she worked right up to a few months before her death.
Suzanne was an extremely hard worker and worked her way up the ladder consistently, leaving as a Senior Operations Manager. Suzanne enjoyed traveling - especially Disney! - and frequenting her favorite restaurants with her family.
She was the loving wife of Scott St. Clair for 28 years.
She leaves her husband, her daughter Hayley St. Clair of Weymouth, son Ryan St. Clair (WPD) of Weymouth, her mother Geraldine (Califano) Rumsey of Weymouth, her sister Monique (Rumsey) Ericson of Taunton, her sister Sharon (Rumsey) Reyes and her husband Humberto (Tico) Reyes, her brother Derek Rumsey of Whitman, her mother in law Jacqueline St. Clair of Newburyport and sister in law Tracy (St. Clair) Duford as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Richard (Dick) Rumsey, her father in law Peter St. Clair, and her brother-in-law Edmund Ericson.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Tuesday 5/19/2026 from 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).
Suzanne’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday 5/20/26 in Sacred Heart Church, 72 Washington Street, Weymouth at 10:30 AM.
Committal prayers will be followed at Mount Hope Cemetery in Weymouth.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Suzanne may be made to Dana Farber Brigham Cancer Center 101 Columbian Street, South Weymouth, MA 02190
