Thomas A. Bousquet, died on May 6, 2026, at the age of 66.

Thomas was born in Boston, MA on February 18, 1960. He was known by family and friends as Tom or Tommy, reflecting his easy going way of life. Shortly after graduating from Hull High school, he joined the U.S. Navy. Tom was trained as an Engineman serving on a Minesweeper (MCM - Mine Countermeasures Ship). He was proud of his service in the Naval Reserves for 6 years. Tom was a former resident of Hull, MA, Florida, Oregon and a current resident of Hingham, MA.

Tom enjoyed driving, and taking long road trips when he got the chance. It was no surprise he enjoyed working as a bus driver for the Hull/Hingham line, greeting passenger with a friendly hello and smile. Tom’s desire to serve others didn’t start with the Navy. He previously served as a volunteer firefighter, responding whenever needed. Tom also enjoyed helping others while working in the medical field at a local hospital.

Tom loved to tinker with his car, plant flowers, decorating for the holidays, helping others, and most importantly spending time with family.

He is survived and will be missed by his partner and love of his life Lorraine Bermingham, and by his children Jacob Knottinghem, Richard Bousquet, Sarah Bermingham, Joseph Bermingham, Kathryn Bermingham. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Camrynn Wilson and Justin Noorda. His mother Patricia Bousquet. His siblings are Patricia Caswell, Robert Bousquet, Brenda Bousquet, Teresa Bousquet, Cindy King, and Chris Bousquet.

He touched the lives of many with his warm heart and welcoming way – he will be missed by too many to list here.

There will be a memorial visitation on May 17, 2026 from 2-5pm, followed by a memorial serve with military honors at 5pm.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers you can make a donation to the ALS Foundation, perform a random act of kindness in memory of Thomas Bousquet.
