Zaniboni, Timothy A. of Quincy, died February 11, 2026.

Born in South Boston, MA on May 7, 1978. Tim was a lifelong athlete and was active his entire life, beginning in South Boston in youth hockey and little league baseball. He graduated from North Quincy High School and was the captain of their baseball, football, and hockey teams and was inducted into the Hall of Fame for baseball and football. He played American Legion baseball for the Quincy Morisette Post. Tim was a graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy, was the captain of their baseball and football teams, and was inducted into their Athletics Hall of Fame. He also played in the Cape Cod League and was named the Massachusetts Italian Athlete of the Year. He coached, umpired, and refereed youth football and baseball, including the Braintree Baseball Club. He made a difference in many athlete’s lives over the years and continued with his passion of sports through coaching. Tim was a proud employee of Verizon Communications for 20 years. He enjoyed time on Cape Cod and camping with family as a child and with his wife Dara, rollerblading Castle Island, walking Wollaston beach with his dog Cali, and attending sports games and parades to support his nieces and nephew. He took a chance at skydiving once, loved to travel, eating his favorite meals; pizza, Greek salad with steak tips, and ice cream (especially at night when the calories don’t count), and enjoyed “Timmy Time”. He was a funny and easygoing man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Adored son of Arthur and Dolores Zaniboni of Weymouth. Beloved husband of Dara Zaniboni of Quincy. Cherished stepfather of Beverly Nguyen of Quincy. Loving brother of Christopher Zaniboni and his wife Kim of Reading and his sister Rachele Magnarelli and her husband Mark of Quincy. Cherished uncle of Francesca, Anthony, and Josephina Magnarelli, Gianna and Gabriella Zaniboni, and James, Gianna, Angelina, and Carissa Carciero. Grandson of the late Francis and Margaret Aldred and Arthur and Phyllis Zaniboni. Predeceased in death by his canine best friend, Cali
