Virginia A. Moran

Virginia A. (Lynch) “Ginny” Moran, of Weymouth, died September 8, 2017. Ginny was a skilled knitter and enjoyed traveling, long drives with her husband, gardening and was an avid reader. She was happiest when surrounded by her family. She will be dearly missed.

Beloved wife of the late James Moran. Devoted mother of Kathaleen Glynn and her husband Bob of Sagamore Beach, Jane F. Moran-Hatch and her husband Stephen of Weymouth and Mary C. (Moran) Firth of Plymouth. Cherished “Nana” and “Sweetheart Nana” to 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Thomas More Church, Braintree at 9:30 AM.

Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ginny may be made to the Massachusetts Humane Society Inc, 445 North Franklin Street, Holbrook, MA 02343.
