White, Walter “Wally” Jr. of Weymouth, passed away December 9, 2023. Wally was born in Boston to the late Rita and Walter White. He was raised in Jamaica Plain where he met the love of his life, Susan in the first grade. He was a 1974 graduate of Don Bosco Technical High School. Wally shared a 40 year business partnership with Clark Kinton as co-owners of Contemporary Cabinet Designs. Cabinetmaking was not only a career to Wally, he furnished his own home and provided his family with beautiful woodshop creations. For years Wally apprenticed and taught his trade to the younger generations in his family, woodworking at “the shop”. Wally enjoyed camping down the Cape, grilling for his family and friends, and laughing by the campfire. An avid sports fan, Wally kept watch on all the Boston sports teams. Wally also liked to partake in walks along the beach, hosting backyard barbecues, and spending time with his family. Wally and the family were often accompanied by their much loved family dog, Lucy, and all of the other family dogs over the years that he claimed he never wanted.
Beloved husband of 48 years to Susan P. White of Weymouth. Loving father of Kerry Ogilvie and her husband Richard of Pembroke, Walter “Jim’ White of Weymouth, and Eric White and his wife Nandini Sunil of Quincy.
