William L. Adams of Weymouth and Alton, NH, formerly of South Boston, passed away suddenly on March 23, 2026. He was 79 years old.

Born on September 21, 1946, in Boston, William was the beloved son of the late Charles and Mary Adams and was raised in South Boston. After graduating high school, he proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, serving two tours in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. He held deep pride in his service to his country throughout his life.

After his marriage, William made his home in Weymouth, where he built a life rooted in family, community, and friendship. He was an active and longtime member of the Columbia Yacht Club in South Boston.

William was the devoted husband of the late Linda Adams (Duggan). He was the brother of the late Charles Adams; Mary Curran and her husband William of Falmouth; Marion White and her husband Ernest of Plymouth; and James Adams and his wife Marilyn of Weymouth.

He will be lovingly remembered by his dear friend Judy Cassino of Braintree, along with many nieces, nephews, friends and fellow SeaBees who will miss him greatly.
