Anthony D. “Tony” Muzzi, Sr., formerly of Hingham and Weymouth passed away on December 20, 2020 in Cape May, New Jersey.  He was 92.

Born in Hingham on March 11, 1928, he was the son of the late Leonard Muzzi Sr. and Mary E. (Lombardo) Muzzi.

Tony was a proud US Navy WWII veteran, enlisting out of high school.  He served aboard the USS New Jersey Battleship which he proudly visited in 2018 and was honored onboard for his service on Veterans Day, 2018.

Upon his return from service, Tony married Dolores A. (Sarno) and settled in Hingham.  He then established Muzzi Construction Inc. and retired after 35 years in the construction business on the South Shore.

Most who knew Tony will be familiar with his love of music.  A self- taught musician, his joy of playing the accordion would be remembered from entertaining at the Naval Officers Club, to many bands at local nightclubs, weddings and lastly entertaining the seniors in the Massachusetts and New Jersey communities.
