Brian Cleary

Cleary, Brian of Lynn, passed away June 27, 2021.

Brian grew up in Newton and Hartford, later moving to Peabody and Lynnfield. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a property casualty insurance broker for 30 years, with the Boston firms of Marsh McLennan, Collier Cobb, and Corroon & Black. In 1998 he transitioned to property management, maintaining a building in Lynn where he lived.  

A lifelong fan of horse racing, he loved closers like Buckpasser and Sloop. He loved pond hockey, analyzing baseball, cornbread and Mark Twain. 

Loving father of KC Cleary Comer of Rockland and Shannon Ggem and her husband Andrew of Los Angeles, CA. He was the rambunctious grandfather of Madeline and Lucy Comer of Lynnfield, and the dear brother of Michaela Cleary of Venice, FL. Brian is predeceased by his beloved brother Brendan Cleary, his sister-in-law Cindy, and his niece Erin of Ipswich, MA.
